Rafa's Transfer Habits Empty Rafa's Transfer Habits

As much as I admire the one and only Rafa Benitez - you cant help but question his signings this summer. Yes he is chasing in a few big names, and yes we have a reasonably large squad anyway - so who are all the foreigners we have never heard of before he has brought in? He has done this before and they have flopped in front of the best supporters in the world!

Yeah. But Rafa's always done things his own way. Everone goes on about his squad rotating... but it works.

Give him the benefit of the doubt and be glad you never had to face the hell that is life under Peter Taylor!

I think Liverpool could be up for the title race this year, Torres is on form and I think the team has been playing together for long enough to be strong contenders for the title.

Torres will step it up, he did in the Euro Cup this year - not to mention his MVP performance at the Finals versus germany.

Liverpool will make a run, it'll be close though.

I don't think Liverpool are ready to mount a challenge for the Premiership title. On their day they can beat anyone and have proved this regularly. However consistency is their problem. I think they need to be looking at 2nd place before top spot - and having good cup runs.

Even though Manchester United look strong, a few small changes such as Ronaldo leaving or an injury in a player such as Ferdinand or Van de Saar could be critical at the beginning of the season.

Rafa Benitez has it all figured out, the rest are just amateurs. His squad rotation is one of the best techniques I have seen in football, I mean of course people will complain if its different, but you just gotta try new things.
