It depends, whats your definition of a professional blogger? I believe a professional blogger shouldn't be a complete retard, should atleast speak english since english is basically the most known language, spend a lot of time on the computer and also be very mature.

You're naturally going to have to come up with some pretty entertaining writing. People don't just read whatever, you have to have something that sets you apart from others. You need some outlandish views, even, some varying opinions, things that spark the interest of perhaps not everyone, but the broader range of people.

Yea, by professional blogger I mean the one who has lots of readers on his blogs and he writes in a very interesting manner that reader should enjoy all his postings.

In bloggers world the READERS count is very important.

Well blogging definitely takes an intelligence and good English skills. Also blogging needs some originality for it to be unique and a truly good read. The last thing we need are more blogs about Britney or Paris Hilton. Anyone interested in those kind of celebrities doesn't need to blog.

I suppose being a 'professional' blogger comes with making a profit, so someone would need to be pretty aware as far as internet marketing goes. I'm not sure if they make cash through PPC ads or subscription-based services or what, but to have someone want to read your work so much that they'd pay is an accomplishment.

to be a good blogger, you should make yourself ready to write some articles. You should be a good reader on the topic also. And always be free to refer other people's blogs. try to take nominal period to write the blog, not less or more. And also, if you can try to buy your own domain for the blog than using free ones.

It depends on the type og blog do you want... First of all you need time to post, to answer to the other` s posts, to find subjects, pictures...
but first of all you need to know how to make a blog, or find someone who can do the job for you.
and, of course, you must like to write on the blog, to dedicate it your time.
