Hamilton blown his title chances?
I think he may have done, after having to start so far back in the grid. Hopefully he can get a qualifying time at the British Grand Prix.
Who do people think will win Silverstone, and the title?

Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
I want Hamilton to win as I have always supported Mclaren, and he's British, but unfortunately I think Raikkonen will win.
Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
Well Massa's off. going backwards into the barrier in Friday practice is what experts call a 'bad start' to a race weekend but it still feels like another year for Raikkonen at the moment.
Looks like rain for Saturday and Sunday so there will be a few surprises. Button in the points would be good.

Lol at Massa. I've always liked Renault, how are they getting on?

Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
Alonso's engine blew so that looks like a ten place drop for him which probably means about 15th place. But Piquet's was lapping well. Would be good for him to beat Alonso for the 2nd race in a row. He need some confidence!

Dammit, Piquet ain't gonna win anything though! Suppose he has potential, but needs to convert that into more results.

Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
Hamilton is still very much in this championship, bear in mind last years champion Kimi was way behind, but managed to pull himself back into it so much that he won on the last race. Hopefully Hamilton won't leave it so late, but i still believe that this could be one of the most open championships of recent years
Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
In answer to the topic, he most certainly hasn't after yesterday's win.
Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
I would love Hamilton to win the Championship, but I really don't know which way it is going to go.

Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
I think that Hamilton has great chances to win this year's championships. He has all that it takes o do that. Still, there are plenty of races remaining and he must perform well in every race if he wants to keep his tiny lead of 4 points over Massa and the 7 point over Raikkonen.
It will be interesting to see what they are capable at the next race, the Hungarian Grand Prix. Will Hamilton be able to increase his lead or not?
A lot will depend on the weather on the day of the race and during the race...

I think that either Hamilton, Massa or Raikkonen will win the Championship now. I have a feeling Massa will drop off the pace towards the end, but this is looking to be a very exciting season.

They are the top favorites to win the championship this year. Yes, it is going to be exciting, very exciting season.
So far, nothing is sure, for none of them. It is close, the difference between them is not big... one mistake it's enough to shift the ranking. One's mistake is the other one's chance in the battle for the title!
Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
I'm surprised no-one's mentioned Kubica. Fisichella, Button and Coulthard haven't made many points at all, despite being some of the most experienced F1 drivers around. Takuma Sato was being talked up a few years ago, but nothing's come of him.

I think he will be the overall champion for this season. He got the tune for racing now, and collecting many points on each series of racing. He got potential to be the Champ.

Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
hamilton is currently in the lead of the championships, its close, but i think he can make it, if he doesnt do anything stupid, like crash =) i hope he does win, he should have won last year, it was a shame that the engineers were bent. its good to have a brit as a leader in a sport again =)

Re: Hamilton blown his title chances?
Well even if Hamilton did lose this years chance at his title there's always next year. I think the kids still got a chance but you never know. In all honesty Nascar really isn't my thing but I bet Bobby will be able to recover, it's not the end for guy like him.
