Modern Pentathlon is a 5 event sport consists of epee fencing, pistol shooting, 200 m freestyle swimming, a show jumping course on horseback, and a 3 km cross-country run. The event was first contested at the 1912 Olympic Games, and was won by Swedish athlete Gösta Lilliehöök.

Well, all I can say is WOW! It takes a lot of endurance and muscles to win such race!

Apart from Pentathlon, Heptathlon and Triathlon are also amazing sports. In triathlon, athletes need to perform in 3 athletic events, whereas in Heptathlon, the participants compete with each other in 7 different events.

The individual scores of each event is added, and at the end, the participant with the highest score (net total score) is the winner.
