Sledgin on cricket ground - What do you think ??
Earlier sledging was part of the game but now a days sledging is taking the ugly shape and in every tournament you can see new controversy created because of sledging. India tour of Australia was full of this.
Friends What do you think about sledging ... should we banned it or we should use latest technology to control it.
I know this is unstoppable as this reflect the human nature but however some how we can minimise it.

The term "sledging" is overused, especially by the media, so has come to mean almost any sort of on-field banter between players, good-humoured or otherwise.
My opinion is that a bit of talk to try and put your opponent off is part and parcel of the game as long as it doesn't become outright abuse. A jibe about a batsmen's form or a poor shot, for instance, is perfectly fine, though a comment regarding a member of their family or racial background certainly isn't.
At the end of the day, it's a sport and people that play it, professionally or otherwise, will always want to do whatever it takes to win. As long as it stays within reasonable bounds then a bit of chat to try and put the opposition off is to be expected. I've always taken a bit of bunny to be a compliment, personally.
