Hmmmm, it's going to be an interesting season. I think Arsenal should be stronger this season, but Man Utd will just pip them to it.
Bolton, Stoke and Hull to get relegated. Stoke and Hull really just are not good enough for this league.
As for the Championship I think Reading, Birmingham and Sheff Utd will come up, with Swansea, Sheff Wed and Coventry to go down.

For the Championship I figure Reading, Sheff. Utd and The Palace to go up.
Not so sure about who will get relegated... only Soton are certain

Well then I change my mind to Palace going down
Being serious though, I reckon Palace and Saints could push for promotion.

Yeah. Honestly though, Saint, I only see us both been in the play-offs this season. That said, this is shaping up to be the best Palace team for close to a decade. Bring on the new season.

I'm glad you ask, Saint.
Nick Carle is our only new signing at the moment but we've got most of the contracts sorted out for next season now... Jose Fonte, Lee Hills, Victor Moses, Sean Scannell etc. plus Ben Watson seems likely to stay so it's all looking pretty rosy.
How's soton doing? haven't heard any rumours of late

Carle looks pretty awesome. I saw him against Southampton when he played for Bristol City and I thought he looked very good. Fonte, Moses and Watson I have always thought were good.
We have bought this young French player who captains France Under 19s, and we beat off the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Pompey haha. I dunno if we will get any more in as we are in financial trouble, you expecting anymore?
Re: Predictions For Next Season
Palace do look stong I must admit, but with players such as Beattie (bet you love him Saint ) I think we can get automatics, plays off must be a minimum. Southampton I think will be up there as well.

Reading and Birmingham are the ones I am most worried about, but QPR look like the could be dangerous as well with all this investment.

I'm worried about QPR as well Arctic, they could easily turn into the Chelsea of the Champhionship this season.
Re: Predictions For Next Season
I wouldn't worry about QPR just yet. THey've made no major signings and are bringing players in on loan. Not exactly the perfect base for championship domination. As far as their 'massive' sponsorship deals go, the money is actually spread out over the next couple of years. No big lump sum to go towards prem quality players.
When playing in the championship, I'd much rather have a strong youth squad coming through than a bit of cash in the bank.

What worries me Palace, is the fact that there is so much time left in the transfer window. QPR could easily go and spend big on players which are World Class. Players will come nowadays due to the factor of money, and QPR could easily offer them huge contracts.

OK. I'm worried now. Looks like they've pretty much signed Kaspars Gorkks. I saw him play for Blackpool and was very impressed. Really seems like one of their best players.

LOL, he's pretty crap mate. Signing players from Blackpool isn't really a step up

Re: Predictions For Next Season
I think Man U will do it again. Arsenal for relegation! Spurs for top 5 finish. Southampton for promotion and relegation... could be interesting (Newcastle!)

What happened to Brentford, they used to be pretty good? I remember at one point almost in the Championship!

Re: Predictions For Next Season
*sigh* don't remind me. That was in the good old Martin Allen years. But no. He's too good for us. He's a quitter.
I would say we're better off without him, but going on results, i can't.
oh the shame.

Martin Allen used to be awesome, but he really can't hack it now. The type of manager you want Bee is a manager like Kevin Blackwell

...who? (apologies for being blatently ignorant)
and just so long he's better than Leroy Rosenior. Can't do much worse of a job than he did
