Afridi says gilchrist better

Shahid Afridi has said that Adam Gilchrist would make a better captain for their IPL team than VVS Laxman as Adam Gilchrist has been more successful at international cricket than Laxman and has better leadership qualities than the bangalore captain.

Whilst Laxman is a quality player, I don't rate him as a captain. Gilchrist has had more experience and, in my opinion, has a greater understanding of the one day game in particular.

I wouldn't have said he was a natural leader, but if you're looking for experience, there aren't many around to rival Gilli.
