The Scottish Open

Good to see that some of the British and Irish lads are playing well here - Damian McGrane -8 going into day 3 just 1 behind Cabrera who dropped a couple of strokes unfortunately for him. Lee Westwood is also having quite a good knock round the park!!! But who's going to win??? I'd say Cabrera or someone like Phil Micklesson will storm forward from the back of the pack - what do you guys think???

Yeah hopefully a British player will win it. I like Westwood, I hope he can push on from his third place at the U.S Open.

Gettin interesting now. Cabrera has ruined his chance with a shocker of a round - and good to see Jiminez playing some nice golf.

I don't think there is much to worry about now if you are supporting McDowell! Would take something drastic to stop him

Green is pretty much out of it, McDowell has too big a lead now.

lol, i was just looking at stuff on wikipedia about the open, i never knew that the first one ever was held at prestwick. its like 2 miles up the road from me. i pass it every day on the train, sayin that, i also pass royal troon every day.

Give it all to Graeme McDowell from Northern Ireland. He took the Scottish open win for 2008. Nice to see McDowell win one of the richer golf tournaments on on the European Tour. I heard there is a possibility that the event will move to the Dundonald links course in Ayrshire in the future.
