Kidd to Give Away Gold Medal

Wow... how dumb is that? It's like it's completely disrespecting the Olympics as an event, like the gold medal accomplishment really isn't too much for Kidd and he can so easily, so soon give it away with so little regard. I think giving away medals won in the Olympics should not even be permitted.

Yea, Really why would he do that? The Olympics should have stripped him of his gold medal for that little stunt there.

It's just strange. It may not mean much to him, but I'm sure it could to his father... his wife, his son, someone, why give it away to someone who was almost a complete stranger? He should have just thought about this, there's no sense in giving away so early and so easily, that medal could mean a lot to someone else.
