Jankovic lost the chance!

So sad to heard that Jelena Jankovic lost to Dominika Cibulkova, 19-year-old player by 7-5, 6-2 on Friday at the Rogers Cup, MONTREAL (AP). She was losing yet another opportunity to claim the top ranking.

I personally think it's awesome that Dominika Cibulkova finished with the win. She's a hot young lil piece for a tennis player. But I guess in Jelena Jankovic's defense it's unfortunate as she is a great player as well and has had better luck in other matches with some amazing turn-arounds.

Yeah, although this was a while ago, it definitely wasn't something that us seasoned tennis fans really want to remember. I didn't want to see Jankovic get put down like that, although Cibulkova is a very nice and respectable player, there were better that Jankovic could have lost to.
