2008 Chicago Cubs

Do you think that that Chicago Cubs will win the World Series this year? The last time they did this was 100 years in 1908. Another interesting note I found was that the last time they made the post season 2 years in a row was 1907/1908. This year, if they make the post season, it will be another 100 year feat broken.

I believe the Cubs may actually win the World Series this year snapping there what, 100 year skid of now World Series win's! From the American League I think the Tampa Devil Rays are playing great ball and could make it to the World Series. But I believe September pressure will bring loses, And they'll slip away from it once again.

100 years is a very long time but maybe it will become a very lucky number for them.. Dont know how many people here actually live in or around chicago :S maybe 1 or 2 if your lucky but the internet is a big place

No, there's no more of a convincing reason the Cubs will win it all this year than there was last year, in my opinion. They've got a pretty good bullpen, I say the streak of continued losing presses on and the Cubs don't win another championship for probably at least 3 more years. Their franchise needs remodeling.
