wat do u think abt the best umpire of year 2008.

i think best umpire of the year 2008 will be aleem dar from pakistan as he misses this achivement in year 2007 just by a margin against simon taufal.
this tym i think he ll be the best

Simon James Arthur Taufel is the best umpire in my opinion. Saleem Dar is also good but Simon James Arthur Taufel again deserves to be the best Umpire of 2008.

i think Simon Taufel deserves this award as he has won the Umpire of the year award twice in a row now. He is also very well respected by all his peers and players. He usually gives the correct decisions and he stands up for what he thinks is right. Only recently he voiced his opinions on burnout of umpires due to excessive cricket and I think he was absolutely right.
