Is it time for Indian Cricketers To Retire

In the recently concluded India - Srilanka test series, the senior players especially Sachin Tendulkar really let india down by playing some bad cricket. After the loss in the first ODI, it seems that the affect of the senior players in getting to the younger players as well.

Do you think the Sachin Tendulkar (see poll) should retire now ... give your opinion ??

Is it time for Indian Cricketers To Retire Empty Senior Players

Post  kunal Sat Aug 30, 2008 10:46 am

Senior players of the Indian Cricket team like Saurav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar, should retire from the One day Internationals. They should keep playing the longer form of the game, the test matches. These days, Indian cricket is full of young Talent, and it really needs some exposure, which can not be made possible if the senior players keep occupying the spots in the team.

They have had their share of playing for India, now they should let the others, who are performing better, have the opportunity to play for the country.

The Indian Veterans like Sachin Tandulkar, Sorav Gangully and Rahul Dravid have been on the team for a long time. They have all lost there skill and touch. In my opnion they should from ODI's and Tests if they have to and just play in the 20-20 matches. You cant keep on playing for ever, there has to be an end sooner or later.

In my openion its time for Sachin Tendulkar , Rahul Dravid , Soruv Gangoly to take retirement from international cricket as all three player could not retain their form from a long time.
and not playing well for their country also
