Dhoni might pull-out from the Srilanka series

If we believe speculations then Dhoni might pull out of the upcoming India's series against Srilanka.India are scheduled to play three Tests and five One Day Internationals during the tour of Sri Lanka to be held from July 18 to August 29.

The BCCI has said that it has not received any such notice from Dhoni but if we believe rumors arising from the media sector, Dhoni feels too tired because of the recent hectic calendar and the matches India is playing and coach Gary Kirsten showed his support as well to Dhoni in his blog few days back.

According to layman,few people have criticized this saying tournaments like IPL are luring players to participate for more money and making them tired enough to pull-out from international series in which players have to put in more efforts for very less amount of money.

Few others have also cricitized the BCCI for setting up such hectic schedules for the Indian Cricket Team which is playing non-stop cricket for months now ..

Which way would you go with?? Probably I would side with the latter group...

I think Dhoni did the right thing by pulling out of the Sri Lanka test series. I agree with him on the fact that the players get very tired with one strenous series after another. They are humans after all, and deserve to spend some time at home and with their family. The BCCI should take note of this.

Dhoni must be quite strained after playing one series after another, though you need to remember that he gets payed for his demand. Though the Indians need him badly for the Sri Lankan series and the Sri Lankans should not be taken lightly, they've proven themselves quite deadly lately.

Though its good that Dhoni can finally get some "family time".

india desperatley need dhooni but he was not able to give his tym to his team, but still india manages to win the series against sri lanka just due to the gudh team work
