New Zealand defeated Ireland by 290 runs in Aberdeen on Tuesday to register the biggest margin of victory in one-day internationals in the opening match of the Associates Tri-series also involving Scotland.
New Zealand's total of 402 for two was also their highest total in ODIs and the opening stand of 274 runs between Brendon McCullum and James Marshall is the fifth highest for any wicket.Ireland were bowled out for a mere 112 in 28.4 overs.
New Zealand's 290-run victory surpassed India's margin of 257 runs against Bermuda at the 2006 World Cup.

Bleh, is this really news? I mean, New Zealand thrashing Ireland? But yeah, NZ has some classy players in McCullum and Kyle mills, too bad they don't perform so well on a consistent basis. Didn't Ireland thrash Pakistan in the 2007 WC?

yea nice world record as newzeland have a great player like mills and especially maccullum i just love the way he played and also he played in the IPL opening match just brilliant player
as newzeland is a great team but most of the time newzeland lost by pakistan in most of the semifinals of the world cup
