Graham Thorpe has always been my favourite cricketer. The best player was Brian Lara, followed closely behind by Tendulkar.

I love Simon Jones, England need to get him back! Best cricketer is Warne and Murli with the ball, and agree with Saintjersey that Lara and Tendulkar with the bat.

I would say tendulkar.

In my opinion the best cricketer was Brian Charles Lara,all the others are after him.One of the other best players is Muhammad Yousuf.

The versatile genius of Cricket ... he is from HYDERABAD, India.
Unfortunately, he was sidelined with some scandals, but...
Azharudin, the ex-captain of Indian Winning Team... I find him to be the best player.

mine is sachin tendulkar, i love the way he plays all strokes.

sachin tendulkar is great but my favourite one is yuvraj.

Chanderpaul is in amazing form at the moment. Tendulkar is obviously one of the greats, but he won't be around for too many more years.

My favorite player is Sachin Tendulkar because he is the master blaster of India.His passion and intensity can never be doubted as he always seems to perform 100% on the field.

Mine is Ganguly, that guy is answome from india.

For my best cricket player was definitely Glenn McGarth. He bowled exceptionally well. Sachin Tendulkar just doing good now.

Bowling-wise, I was a big fan of McGrath too. He was far from express, but it was his accuracy and consistency that got batsmen out, he never relied on intimidation like Ahktar and Lee (and going back further, Walsh and Ambrose) have done.

All round i will give it to Ricky Pointing as he is proved to be the best Cricket Captain and also he love the game so i will give him the Title of Best player..

for me best player is Fleming from New Zealand

I would have to say Kevin Pieterson. He has a good reputation, and he does an excellent job as a batsman. For those of you who thinks Pieterson isn't all that well just wait for upcoming seasons, it can only get better from here.

No doubt he was the classic player with his wrist but match fixing allegation really killed all respect from my heart.

My favourite player is Sir Vivian Richards followed by Tendulkar and than Steve Waugh.

I will go for Sourav Ganguly. India's most successful captain and one among the few in world cricket to score above 10,000 runs. The opening pair of Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulker was the one of the most successful opening pair in the history of world cricket.

Another important positive thing of him is he will never give up. A good example for this is when every one said that ganguly will never come back in cricket when he was dropped for several series. But he came strongly and now he is a vital part of Indian team.

I would say the best player is Ricky ponting of Australia He is a really good captain and batsman and is a complete match winner Oh forgot and he is a great fielder as well

My favorite Player were in Batting - Saeed Anwar , Bowling - Wasim Akram , Fieling - Collingwood , Wicket Keeping - Rashid Latif and as Captain Steve Wah & Cronje
all the players above are my best players of the world cricket as they have also many records

My favorite players are Brian Lara and Waseem Akram, Shane Warne. i like many other player from past especially from 1970's and 80's.
